Learning through teaching:Cyanotype Workshops
Throughout all of University I volunteered with the charity The StoryWorks. After getting some experience in my second and third year at writing workshops, I pitched and worked with them to lead Cyanotype workshops for students around ages 6-12.

During my final year of University I realized how much I loved working with students and creating workshops. I began to volunteer with the Events staff at the Russell-Cotes Museum in Bournemouth. Together we made a workshop for local homeschooled kids, and another open to the public for all ages as an opportunity to learn the basics of Cyanotype printing and to come home with two pieces of your own. Though there is still a lot for me to learn, I feel like these experiences helped me improve explaining processes for better outcomes at the end of workshops for students and grew the ways I am able to collaborate with other creatives.
